Is Wellness Finally Becoming Less Complicated?

There was a time when getting healthier sounded refreshingly ordinary.
Go for a walk.
Eat your vegetables.
Get some sleep.
Then, somehow, we ended up timing our coffee, tracking our sleep scores, wearing smart devices, debating cold plunges, and wondering whether our blueberries should be organic, frozen, or hand-picked under a full moon.
Honestly, keep a good health became... exhausting.
What's interesting is that, despite all the new gadgets and trends, much of today's research keeps circling back to the same familiar advice.
Move regularly.
Sleep well.
Build strength.
Eat enough protein and fibre.
Keep doing it.
It's almost disappointing how unglamorous the answer is.
Maybe the hardest part of living well was never finding the perfect routine. Maybe it was accepting that the simple things work because they're simple enough to keep doing.
Perhaps wellness hasn't become more complicated after all.
Maybe we've just become very good at complicating it ourselves.
